Abstract :The article deals with comparative legal characteristics of the most common approaches to the interpretation of the «innovation» essence. There was revealed «contact points» in the vision of this category. There was determined some basic factors affecting the formation of innovation as a market relations product. There was identified the most important economic characteristics that differ innovation from spontaneous and indirect social and economic changes. There was done the estimation of the modern condition of enterprises readiness for innovative activity on the basis of the analysis of implemented technical, organizational and marketing innovations. There was asked to assess readiness for innovation activities in three areas: the willingness of labor resources, management system and capital resources. |

A Forecast of the dynamic Response of the Nigerian Economy to the 2007/2008 Global Financial Crisis |

Abstract :The financial and economic Tsunami that erupted and shook the world in 2007/2008 is by now legendary. If anything, it has underscored the importance of planning in the recovery of the global economy, but perhaps more important, in containing the negative consequences of future shocks at the local level. However, this can only be done on the basis of sound understanding of the character of the present (2007/2008) crisis and how it is likely to impact on Nigeria economy in the immediate future. Using impulse response functions and variance decomposition techniques, this paper forecasts the dynamic response of the Nigerian economy to impulses both from within and outside the domestic economic system, triggered by the 2007/2008 global financial meltdown. It was found that the crisis is likely to be more severe not in the short-run but starting from 2015. Also, that in order to contain future shocks, there would the need to fundamentally restructure the external sector of the economy. |

Abstract :This research has examined differences between factors affecting productivity of faculty of universities and higher education centers of the Ardabil based on three groups involved means faculty, staff of educational and research units and students, and are considered as basis of rankings. Based on components of NASIRI POUR model (2011) and using ANOVA test unanimity of different aspects affecting efficiency in terms of the three groups studied. Due to significant differences in means, LSD post hoc test was used and it was determined that in organizational culture, the mean of student than the other two groups, in empowering, the mean of employees than other groups, in the motivational factors, the mean of student than another groups and in the way of managing, the mean of employees than other two groups are different. Finally, using the technique of TOPSIS, factors affecting productivity of faculty were ranked. The results showed that the components of empowerment, environmental conditions, organizational culture, leadership method (management) and motivational factors are most important in enhancing the productivity of faculty members of Ardebil universities, respectively. |

Abstract :The objective of the research is to provide an overview of social responsibility campaigns developed by corporations from Romania. Thus, we propose to identify in our analysis the most attractive areas for the development of social campaigns made by the companies. Meanwhile, the study aims not necessarily achieve a ranking of active companies in CSR from Romania and especially to identify the companies that developed the most campaigns. The research methodology is based on the quantitative and qualitative analysis of case studies available on the website www.responsabilitatesociala.ro. Thus, in our analysis we have pointed out that the most social responsibility campaigns are conducted in the social domain and the fewest were developed in sport or human rights areas. Another relevant aspect of the research concerns the massive involvement of multinational companies in this field, but followed by the Romanian companies. |

A Study of the Categories of Tenants Affected by Eviction in Ilorin Metropolis, Nigeria between 2001 – 2010 |

Abstract :Tenant eviction is almost inevitable but most stakeholders have suffered various degrees of loss and hardship. This paper examines the socioeconomic characteristics of tenants evicted from residential properties over a period of ten years (2001-2010) in Ilorin Metropolis with a view to proffering recommendations that would solve housing and other problems associated with eviction. There were 1,446 evicted tenants from residential properties by registered estate surveyors and valuers within the studied period. 10% of these were selected by stratified random sampling technique, and surveyed with structured questionnaire. Data collected were analysed using descriptive statistics. The study revealed that the majority of evicted tenants were low income civil servants whose annual income is below N120.000 ($750 US) who were evicted from flats and tenement buildings. Over 75% of the tenants were evicted from low income properties. |

Abstract :The paper presents findings of a research conducted among students in the Republic of Serbia dealing with entrepreneurship and business start-ups. Throughout a three year period the research has included 1990 examinees. The population is built on students from four universities and business schools directed towards business and management. The research has been conducted using a structured questionnaire. The research has shown that a number of examinees were not informed of the existence of financial incentives for starting a business. Interviewed students reported that they lack the knowledge of: the basics of entrepreneurship and small business, basic finance and accounting and foreign languages. In the opinion of students, the Republic of Serbia is currently no suitable environment that encourages youth to start their own businesses. The research also points out to the significant relation between entrepreneurial knowledge and the improvement of business quality. |

Abstract :The fundamental difficulties in empirical work on tax compliance involve the vagueness of relevant definitions, the lack of reliable information on taxpayers’ compliance and methodological problems. In the light of these difficulties, this paper suggests using a systematic approach to explore tax compliance. The novelty of the study lies in treating tax compliance as an integral system and in creating an illustrative model of tax compliance by systematic analysis. The model enables to determine potential risk groups and to develop measures for improving tax compliance of different types of taxpayers. |
